Revelation from God

I have decieded to spend some time with the Lord every morning. This morning I sat down with my bible and some books I am reading. I read my normal chapters and then I went to 1 Timothy, it was suggested to me to look over the book of Timothy to use for training councelors at the center. So, I am reading in Timothy and I come across this verse.
"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith , in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

I looked at this scripture for sometime and even asked the Lord to explain it to me. This is what was said, Be in the word and let all of your happenings in the day be an example of what a believer needs to be. In my conversations, in love(charity in KJV, means love), in my spirit within me and my faith, also the way I present myself to others. If you had a really bad day and you walked into a room full of non believers, how would you carry yourself. Would come across as calm, angry, verbally rude? I guess we have to remember in all of our happenings in the day, we are watched by others. This is really a good reminder of our daily walk with the Lord. I love that scripture in Joshua 1:8 that talks about meditating on the word day and night. This is true. So, I challenge you and me, to look at the way we carry ourselves. And remeber it is not just out in the community, how about our children, husbands and friends? God bless all of you today.

Girly Comments & Graphics

I love all of you and I hope that you all have a wonderful day!

I got tagged again!

Girly Comments & Graphics

Well my friend Susan at mom of 6 tagged me. The only promblem is that Susan and I have the same blog buddies. So I am only going to be able to tag two other people. First off you need to post the rules.
So here are the rules:

1> You must post the rules on your post before you answer the questions.

2> You need to list one fact about yourself using each letter of your middle name. If you don't have a middle name yse your maiden name instead.

3> When you are finished with your answers you tag on person for each letter of your name.
So here we go:

M-My parents named me after a checker at a grocery store.
A- I am Astonished by the way the Lord has blessed us.
R- Jesus is my Redemmer
I- I am Intrigide at how my life has turned out, not my plans, but God's
A- I will Always follow the Lord, with all my heart.

So, now I will tag Jeff at stuff, and Robin at Bittersweetpunkin.
I guess I need to get more blogger buddies.

Being Negative

I have to share with you something that is so damaging, it can destroy your life, keep you in depression and make other people not want to be with you. And that is what you say, in the bible, God spoke and the creation of the world began. How positive is that, the bible also states "That your words are life or death." I am just concerned by the words that come out of peoples mouth. I guess I never realized it about ten years ago, since I was so negative that I know people stopped hanging with me because of it. But, I see it now. Oh sisters, you are stopping life from happening for you because of your negative tongues. Capture the joy, peace, patiences and love for life by changing your tongue language. It is really important that your ears and ears of others hear encouragement, love and joy speak from your mouths, it does effect others. So, I challenge you this week, ask the Lord to open your ears to what you say and ask how does it effect other? You may be surprised. Love all of you and I will talk more later.

A New Journey

Girly Comments & Graphics

Jeff had a doctor appointment with the surgent who did the surgury. Well doctor told him, he needed to go back to work. So as of Wednesday Jeff will go back to work on day shift. I am sad, because in the last couple of weeks Jeff and I have gotten closure. And I am glad, because he needs to work and get himself up. I am so glad, please keep him in your prayers.

As I look at the last couple of weeks, I am so grateful that the Lord worked in our hearts and our faith became stronger with the Lord. He is the Father of Provisions and healing. I have gotten closure to Him and I am ready for the rest of the year. Philippians4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord, and again I say rejoice."

Good Morning Greeting

God's Hands

Cara Winship sent this out. It is called: God's Hands

I took this picture on Hwy 30, traveling to Canton, Ohio. It has given me strength in the times of trouble. I feel I should share it with the rest of the world. I hope it is an inspiration to you. It just goes to show what we already know.... We have a God and he's watching over us.I E-mailed this picture to News Channel 3. I was contacted by Meteorologist John James. He said that this picture of the sky is showing up, in all states, around the world. He wanted to know where I was from and where I took it. He saw a similar picture taken in Texas. He said this is amazing to him.

This was sent to me by a friend. It was taken in Ohio, It really reminds me of how big God is and how much he does protect us. Such an amazing picture. I will talk to you all later.

Reminder

Hi ya fellow family of bloggers. I know I kind of harp on my opinions of Huckabee, and honestly this has little to do with him. But I would like to remind all of you that Super Tuesday is like coming up and we need to be supporting Republicans as best as we can. So, it does not matter if it is Huckabee or McCain, we need to get them in there. If you would look up their websites and donate money. Keep praying for the Lords guidance in this race. Here is a great site that my friend Heather at Standing at the Crossroads sent me. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,321507,00.html

Fear Not

Girly Comments & Graphics

"Fear not" is in the bible 364x. I have felt for some time that the Lord has something awesome for us this year. When this year started out the way it did, I started to fear. I started to fear because I was focusing on the problems and not God. When you focus on the promblem you will find that there is no hope, self pity or anger. When you focus on God, you will find peace, joy and love every time. He is our answer, our guidance, our hope our love and our strength. He has paid our bills, healed Jeff and gave us hope for this year, He will guide us as long as our focus is on Him. Spend time with His word and get to know him. Memorize the word and plant it on our hearts and live them. I do not fear anymore, because He has shown me so much and he love me. I want to share this verse with you, it is powerful.
"I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fear." Psalm 34:4
Also, Psalm 91 is so awesome, you have to spend sometime there. I love all of you and have a blessed day.

Dominating or Desolate?

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

"Whatever is not from faith is sin." Romans 14:23

A group of us are reading this book called "captivating" by John and Stasi Eldredge. We are in chapter three, it is brought up in the chapter that because of the fall of man and women, we as women are under our husbands, If our husbands are passive or maybe even aggressive, we fall with them. We can become dominating or desolate to our spouces, friends or children. So all this time I am thinking that I am a dominating wife, because I have seen the signs giving up control of certian things to Jeff. But after watching this video that goes with the book, I realize I am also desolate. This is something I really am going to give to the Lord this year. I feel in my heart that I really want to be more humble and meek. More forgiving and not so judgemental. I really want to give all to the Lord this year. I really hold on to control and it is time to trust in the Lord and Jeff. It also has showed me that I tend to look in other areas to find control or contentment besides God. If you have a group of gal pals, this book is really good. At first I was not so sure I wanted to do it. But as we have gone on, I am seeing alot of changes that need to be made. An what is so interesting about this book is that even single women can benefit from it.

South Carolina Polls

Demand that Mike Huckabee come speak in your city.

I watched the count of the polls last night for the Republican party. I was amazed at how close MaCain and Huckabee were. I kept praying that Huckabee would overtake MaCain. And it did not happen, but Mike came on with encouragement and high spirits and just said some wonderful things about the people who has been helping his election. I am so grateful for this man, he is really in tunned with the Lord. Keep watching, God still has something awesome for Him.

New Hamshire Debate

MikeHuckabee.com - I Like Mike!

I have to share this with you. The other night Jeff and I were watching the New Hamshire Debates and a question was asked of Mike Huckabee. They asked him a question about women who need to submit to their husbands. He took the question right back to the bible. He informed the audience that the Husband needs to submit to the Lord, just as the women submit to their husband. He did such a good job with the question, it made me sure glad that the Lord showed me Mike Huckabee, Go Mike and we will keep praying for you.

Are you listening to God?

I know that this is really a weird video, but it really makes you think about situations and how they would of been better if you had just listened to God. I have faced things and even felt like I was standing alone, but in the end it was God who blessed me and made me realize that He wanted me to do it. Make sure that you turn off the music at the bottom of the blog to hear this.

My Discription of Beautiful

glitter-graphics.com

There is a small group of gals that I have been getting together with on Saturday mornings. We are currently doing the book, Captivating by John and Staci Eldredge. In the second chapter Staci ask the question. What do we think is beautiful. I sat and thought about this and in the last week I have face the scripture several times about how Jesus will leave the ninety nine in order to find the one lost sheep. I find Jesus beautiful, the fact that He gave His life for me, that he would leave ninety nine sheep in order to find me. He thought of you and me when he sacrificed Himself for our Sins. He did not have to, He could of ran and did all those things that people say He did. But He did not, and not only that He helped to create the beauty in this world, oceans, flowers and blue sky would not even be possiable with out Jesus. So my discription of beauty is Jesus. What is your discription of beauty?

I Am Back

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

Well, I just thought is was time to post something. Jeff came home from the hospital on Saturday. Doctor told him he could resume life with no special instruction. He has felt much better and he has been alittle sore, but much better than he was. Doctor thought that he may be back to work within a couple of weeks. I have been so amazed at the journey we have had in the first part of the year. So we are ready for the journey to continue on and see what God has in store for us. I am really thankful for all your prayers and kind encouragement. I know that we are having an awesome year. God is my strength and provider. God bless all of you.

Please pray

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

I just wanted to let all of you know that Jeff will be going into the hospital in the morning to get his galbladder out. He has alot of peace about it and he knows that afterwards he will be feeling 100 percent better. The only thing I ask prayer for is his recovery of course, but that the temperary disablity money goes through faster than what we think it will. So that the bills will not be left aside. I have faith that God will take care of every thing. God bless all of you and I probably will not blog for a couple of days.

love

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

As I take a step down the path of life, I am reminded how loved I have been. Love is something I am not sure I remember or even knew how to express. I really believe that I am blessed and that the Lord will direct my path, but along the way He has been placing wonderful people in my life that have really shown me love and have grown with me. I know now that I was loved as a child in the way my parents could express it. I may not of been showned the love I needed to know how to express to others. But along the way as I have been living, God has put people in my life to learn how to love others. I am amazed how God will work with you if you are available or humble to His direction. I really believe the key is to focus on Him and he will rain all the blessings on you. I just want to say how I love all of you and I know now how to love.

Explain myself

I do think that I need to explain about the post I did yesterday. I really did feel a peace about voting for Mike Huckabee, and I still feel a leading to vote for him in the near future. I feel that We need to be in prayer when it comes to our next president. But what saddens me is that we are even making marriage an issue. Didn't God make Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve? Or Abortions, this too is an issue on the ballat. Why are we even talking about for or against killing small beings? This is weird to me. I realize that I should not get so worked up on this on this election and I should not even talk about politics, but I am saddened by the fact that God's word is so misrepresented. Do not mind me, I guess my passion is speaking for me. I will be fine and I know this is in God's hands and he is going to take care of every thing. Also, Jeff had all his test today and it looks like the Gallbladder is the promblem. We will know more on Wedsnesday afternoon. I love all of you and I am so glad to have such a wonderful prayer team behind me. Also, Susan I listened to Pastor Zahn's message about the door of hope, awesome message and it really refocused me. New Hampshire Debates

There was a debate last night in New Hampshire between all the Republican canidates and all the Democrates. I found it interesting that the questions for both groups were so different. It makes me really think about how divided as a Nation we are. The moralistic of both groups are so different also. Abortion, marraige and even education. It saddens me that we have to vote because we want the lesser of two evils in the White House. It really reminds me of the bible, where the people wanted a king. And the Lord gave them Saul, and in the end Jeolousy and disobeidiant cause Saul to fall and David became king. The real issue is, do we need a king when we have the Lord? I do support Mike Huckabee, I do pray that he surrenders to the Lord and that he will pray to the Lord before he makes any decisions. And I will pray this for all the canidates. "May we praise the Lord if we win and praise the Lord if we loose." from the movie "Facing the Giants"

Amazing Pizza Factory

I have to tell you about this place that our son chose to go to for his sixteenth birthday. It was a pizza place in a warehouse full of games and rides that the kids can do. When you go into the place and purchase your meal, you also get a credit card for each child and then they can go play. The place had a little rollercoaster, go carts, bowling, mini golf, bumpercars and any video game you can think of. We had a blast, and once you pay for your food,(buffet), you never pay for it again. You can eat all the time you are there. IT was a great time, it is located in Omaha, NE. I hope that you will check it out. If you would like to check it out, go to www.amazingpizzamachine.com.
